Health Strat is an indigenous public health organization incorporated in 2011 experienced in implementing cost-effective and sustainable health systems solutions in HIV and TB service delivery, supply chain management, human resources for health and healthcare evaluation. Over the last 8 years, Health Strat has registered remarkable success in managing multiple PEPFAR funded grants at both the national and county levels. As a result, over 80,000 individuals in 47 counties have been put on live-saving antiretroviral therapy (ART) and 90% of them achieving viral suppression at an average cost of $112 per patient per year.

Health Strat applies a unique model of strengthening health systems through evidence-informed programming, skills transfer for sustainability, and applying innovative solutions for service delivery. 

We are a leading premier parenting and psychiatric clinic which offers both Parenting and psychiatric solutions. Our solutions are tailored to people of all ages from children to adults. We explore the many reasons why people act in certain ways and suggest positive and validating ways to bring about change in their lives. Our solutions help mold the social and emotional behavior of our clients.

The hospital was started in 1909 by the Church of Scotland. It is owned and governed by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa. It is located in the Central Highlands of Kenya between the Aberdares Range and Mount Kenya 130 Km (80 Miles) North of Nairobi at altitude of 5,900ft. It is a 203 bed hospital and provides holistic health care. 

It provides general health care in medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology as well as outpatient services.

The hospital has a Training College which is which is fully accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya and Kenya Nutrition and Dietetics Institute to train their respective courses. Other units are the Guest House and a Cafeteria.

The Hospital Director, the Chief Medical Officer, the Hospital Administrator, the Nursing Officer in Charge, the Principal Tutor, the Hospital Chaplain and the Finance Manager are the members of Hospital Administration Team (HAT). The Heads of Department work under the HAT

St. Joseph Hospital – Kahawa Wendani (SJH) belongs to the Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi; it operates in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church and the guidelines it receives from the Archdiocese. 

SJH was started in 2004 from a Home-Based Health care program: an effort by St. Joseph's Catholic Church Kahawa Sukari to witness Christ’s hope through the provision of integrated health services to the community. 

It is located at the center of Kahawa Wendani, Kiambu County, a very populated area with an average age of 18 years old. It serves the communities of Githurai, Mwihoko and Kahawa Sukari. 

SJH counts of 21 staff, among them 5 nurses, 2 Clinical Officer, a pharmacist, and three specialists composed of a Gynecologist, a Sonographer and a Psychologist. From October 2020, a maternity ward was inaugurated; this was made possible due to the efforts of all the staff and the donations received by many friends.
