Do you care about time keeping? What do you think? This issue is particularly problematic for us Ugandans, and we want to change it – permanently. Whether we assign a dollar value to it or not, time is a special and valuable resource that you cannot store or save for later use. Everyone has the exact same amount of time each day. Being on time shows everyone around you that you are the master of your life. It demonstrates foresight — the ability to predict possible hang-ups — and adaptability — the ability to change your plans to accommodate those hang-ups. Time keeping is an essential trait for any budding entrepreneur.
On the other hand, being late shows that you are a victim of the winds of fate, that you’re incapable of anticipating possible problems and either dealing with them or altering your course to avoid them. It sends the message that you’re harassed by time, not in control of it. These are not the kinds of folks we expect to attend the Leap Conference. Everyone is busy — too busy to be waiting on you before we start the conference. Help us demonstrate that Leap Conference folks are of a particular and unique mind-set.
OK, I'm in - can I volunteer? Yes ofcourse. Please drop us an email with your details and why you want to volnteer? (hello@nase.co.ug).
