About US:
Eskom Uganda Limited is a subsidiary company of Eskom Enterprises based in South Africa. Our business is operating and maintaining Nalubaale and Kiira hydroelectric Power Stations. Their mission is to be the “Centre of Excellence in Power Concession Management.”
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Business in attaining its strategic objectives through the attraction, development and retention of talent.
- The jobholder will also interpret Human Resources Policies and Standards to Ensure Effective, Fair and Equitable Management of Staff throughout the business.
- Provide an integrated Human Resource Services and Manage HR Functions.
- Ensure alignment of business Human Resource Processes to HR Strategies and Procedures.
- Set and oversee the implementation of long and short term objectives for the department.
- Tasked with the management HR Department Resources (Staffing, Finance etc.).
Required Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should preferably hold a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial psychology or Administrative or related field.
- Registration with a professional HR Body
- A minimum of six years’ experience in all aspects of Human Resources Management (i.e. Recruitment, Training and Development, Management, Administration, Compensation and Benefits, Legislation), four of which in Senior or Managerial role in HRM of a similar corporate setting.
