Duty Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Render support in planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for UCDA
• Develop and manage processes to identify and evaluate Organizations' risks and risk control assessments.
• Establish and quantify the organization’s risk appetite
• Responsible for regular monitoring and reporting of risks to process owners/head of departments to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the organization.
• Offer technical support and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree (First Class or Upper Second class) in Finance and Accounting or B. Com (Accounting /Finance Option) or BBA (Accounting Option) from a recognized university.
• Full professional qualifications in Accounting (ACCA, CPA (U), IIA)
• At least five years of related experience in risk management or internal audit position.
• Impeccable level of integrity, professionalism, teamwork and analytical skills and a good eye for detail.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Ability to understand broad organization issues
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Good computer skills are needed with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to influence people;
