Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Finance Officer will be responsible for accounts control;
- Tasked with the management of cash flow and cash boxes;
- Supporting the Administrative Coordinator in budgetary and financial administration;
- Participating to the weekly team meetings;
- Ensure the strict application of the rules;
- Report any incident in which s/he's involved/witnessed immediately;
Required Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Handicap International Finance Officer job opportunity must hold a professional diploma or University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
- Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is considered a plus;
- One year of experience in a similar position;
- Previous experience with an NGO;
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and finance principles and procedures
- Excellent accounting and software user;
- Knowledge of tax regulations in the country;
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills;
- Sharp time management skills;
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data;
- Ability to work under high pressure;
- Excellent coordination skills;
- Languages: Spoken and written English
- Computer Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills, MS Office (Word, Excel) and internet;
