Key Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • The Finance Officer will be responsible for accounts control;
  • Tasked with the management of cash flow and cash boxes;
  • Supporting the Administrative Coordinator in budgetary and financial administration;
  • Participating to the weekly team meetings;
  • Ensure the strict application of the rules;
  • Report any incident in which s/he's involved/witnessed immediately;

Required Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for the Handicap International Finance Officer job opportunity must hold a professional diploma or University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
  • Professional qualification as a CFA/CPA is considered a plus;
  • One year of experience in a similar position;
  • Previous experience with an NGO;
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting and finance principles and procedures
  • Excellent accounting and software user;
  • Knowledge of tax regulations in the country;
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills;
  • Sharp time management skills;
  • Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data;
  • Ability to work under high pressure;
  • Excellent coordination skills;
  • Languages: Spoken and written English
  • Computer Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills, MS Office (Word, Excel) and internet;
