Who We Are

 

Frontier Technologies and Services is a subsidiary company of Computer Frontiers Group, which is also affiliated with eight other companies in Africa has been a pioneer, starting in 1996, Computer Frontiers Group (CFG) has a long and successful track record of experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, that stretches from providing technical support and information services to the agricultural industry for farmers Associations in Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa, to assisting in establishment of the telecommunications regulatory environment, and fostering the initial Network Operation Centers for Internet access in much of West Africa. Most specifically in Uganda, between the years of 1998 and 2004, Computer Frontiers Group worked with the UCC to assist in its establishment and regulatory frameworks, the Offices of 7 East and Southern African Presidents, and training of parliamentarians on the use and implementation of Internet to better serve their constituencies.

We are very happy to have been a partner in these endeavors at the start and hope to continue our relationship with the common interest of protecting and serving Ugandan citizens.

 

 

 

Computer Frontiers Group established these affiliated companies to push forth this initial work, and is now building stable IT services companies throughout Africa upon this platform.

 

 

 

Established in 1996, Computer Frontiers Group (CFG) is a woman-owned technology company headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, USA with affiliate companies located in Cape Verde, Ghana, Guinea, Senegal, South Sudan, Togo, and Uganda. Over the last 16 years, Computer Frontiers Group has worked in 35 African Countries, established 4 contact centers to respond to the general public for 13 African countries for the US State Department and other governments, providing information and services in plain language for the callers.

 

Our contact center coordinates the service delivery, provides information to applicants from scripted responses, performs data intake, corresponds by email and SMS text to callers, and provides online chats and other services. CFG has been recognized with excellent customer services from those who used our systems and dealt with our agents (please see quotes). We’ve just completed the first year of work under this 10-year performance-based contract with the US Department of State. Our team has garnered a 96.3% satisfaction rate from our government clients, as well as from the general public. The first year is always the most challenging when implementing a new service, as you can see CFG was able to provide this service effectively and efficiently. We manage and service roughly 200,000 applicant calls throughout the year.
