MGen Tanzania Insurance Company Tanzania Limited (MGen) is a general (short term) insurance company. We underwrite all classes of short term (general) insurance as authorised by the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority. The company is a subsidiary of the Madison Financial Services Company of Zambia which in turn is a member of the LSA Group of Companies. The LSA Group is a diversified holding company with interests in the financial sector, tourism and property development to name a few. MGen Tanzania was registered in 2006 but its related company in Zambia (Madison General) was the first private insurance company in Zambia
