The Directorate is responsible for: • enhancement of bilateral relations, negotiating and concluding bilateral agreements, strengthening economic and trade relations between Mauritius and all African and Indian Ocean Islands States; • coordination and interaction with departments and agencies dealing with trade and economic relations both locally and in the target countries.
