Ponta Preta water, set up in 2000 by CASSA and Cabocan Group, is located in Santa Maria, Sal Island (Cape Verde). Its mission is to provide basic energy services, water and sanitation in the hotel district of Ponta Preta, allowing the development of tourism in this area of the island.

Its activities encompass the entire integral water cycle: desalination to reuse, through purification, distribution and treatment of waste water. In addition, APP produces and distributes electricity. Its main customers are hotels and resorts, which ensures the supply of water and electricity for the provision of a tourist service quality.
