Genesis Farms Ethiopia was a project of Double Harvest Netherlands and America. Production of different vegetables, fruits, flowers and dairy products are the central activities. At ca. 40 hectares there is production of different crops. Because of the dripp irrigation, fertilization and the favourable climate, every week there is 10 tons production. Most of the products are sold to hotels, restaurants, ambasseys and at the local market. The products of Genesis Farms has a high quality and are much needed in Ethiopia. The farm has his own shops and restaurant. In the shop vegetables, eggs and dairy products are sold. Genesis Farm has his own water resources. The peoples from surrounding areas can get water for free at the farm. Also is there the possibility for local farmers to get practical training at Genesis Farm
