SAIDAL is a joint stock company with a capital of 2.5 billion Algerian dinars. 80% of the capital of SAIDAL Group are held by the state and the remaining 20% were sold in 1999 through the stock exchange to institutional investors and individuals.  Organized Industrial Group SAIDAL's mission is to develop to produce and market pharmaceutical products for human use. 

The SAIDAL Group strategy aims to consolidate its leading position in the production of generic medicines and to contribute thereby to the achievement of national drug policy implementation implemented by the authorities.

The quality of public company gives SAIDAL a dual purpose:

    • Ensure financial independence and sustainability safeguarding its       financial equilibrium, ensuring continuously improve the                     competitiveness of its products, to achieve its growth targets and       develop its human resources. 

    • Make the objectives assigned to it by the State, in its capacity as       main shareholder.

Under its first mission, SAIDAL defined the lines of action to enable it to ensure its growth and consolidate its leadership position in the production of generic medications. 

Foremost among these lines of action, figure a plan comprehensive and integrated development that accompanies the expansion of the Group with an action plan centered on the development of human resources, improvement of the organization and the information system, promoting corporate culture and implementation of an effective communication policy:

    • Promote ethical rules aimed at regulating and sanitation of the           drug market,

    • Contribute to the reduction of imports, 

    • Opening up foreign markets, 

    • Increase the level of consumer satisfaction.
