Kibogora Polytechnic was the first institution of Higher Learning to originate in the Western Province of Rwanda. KP opened with provisional MINEDUC approval in September 2012 and received official accreditation in 2015 from the Government of Rwanda. We offer vocational programs at diploma level and/or bachelor’s degrees in General Nursing, Midwifery, Business and Development Studies, Education and Theology. We aim at training graduates who are aware, flexible, and able to cope with changes in the regional, national and international environments and still deliver at the highest level in their chosen fields. KP places great store by combining thinking with doing to create the most employable graduates. All the staff has knowledge of practice as well as excellence tutors. They are up-to-date with knowledge and can bring their experience into the classroom to bring theory and bookwork to life.
