Provision of consultancy services will focus on supporting businesses in the tourism industry develop and manage their businesses. This support targets the development of business plans, and website management and content development, social media management and online advertising. Also, AITFG will conduct project and program reviews and evaluations in the tourism, environment and livelihoods.

Africa Institute of Tourism and Field Guiding believes in inclusive development and management of natural resources. The communities along the tourism value chain need to be involved in the tourism industry and they already provide support to the industry for example through the protection of nature. The project development and implementation areas of the institute will support communities by giving them practical training in the writing project proposal and running projects. It will also develo
