Welcome to the University of Ngaoundere The University of Ngaoundere is among the most successful institutions of higher education in Cameroon. It is a public, scientific and cultural institution with legal personality. History and Creation The University of Ngaoundere is created by Presidential Decree No. 93/028 of 19 January 1993. It comes from the transformation of Ngaoundere University Centre University. Initially with two colleges and four faculties, this institution today welcomes students from all regions of Cameroon and the countries of the subregion, in particular Chad and the Central African Republic. Today, it has four faculties and four schools for an estimated population of 17,000 students.
