In 1989, the Faculty of Protestant Theology in Zaire ( FTPZ ) will expand with the opening of the Faculty of Humanities , composed of the branch management and the library , to be called Protestant Faculties in Zaire ( FPZ ) . On the decision of the Board, Protestant Faculties in Zaire in 1994 will become the Protestant University of Congo, with the transformation of the Faculty of Human Sciences in the Faculty of Administration of Economic Affairs and Science and the introduction of the Faculty by right. In 2006, the Faculty of Medicine opened
