Hurghada University is a governmental university in the Red Sea Governorate with roots that began in 1995 through the establishment of the Faculty of Education as a branch linked to Qena. The institution later progressed through independence steps and was formally established as Hurghada University by Prime Ministerial Decision No. 3005 of 2024. Hurghada University serves the Red Sea region through academic growth, research, community partnerships, and faculties including education, tourism and hotels, languages, and computers and artificial intelligence.
