Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors (EFCBC) is a nationwide federation based in Cairo that was established by Law No. 104 of 1992 as the official body representing Egyptian construction and building contractors of all sizes. The federation is responsible for setting the rules that govern the registration, classification and ranking of contractors, overseeing the registers that companies must join in order legally to practice contracting activities in Egypt, and working with government authorities on tax, regulatory and contractual issues that affect the construction industry so that member companies can operate more competitively and deliver projects across Egypt and abroad.
