General Building Materials Section is a national chamber-level section headquartered in Abdin, Cairo and affiliated to the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, where it represents companies and traders active in the building materials sector across Egypt. Located in Bab El-Louk close to the Federation’s main offices, the section focuses on building materials such as cement, bricks, aggregates, finishing materials and related construction inputs, and provides a platform for members to discuss market issues, logistics and supply challenges. The section supports its members by preparing studies, offering guidance on regulations affecting the building materials trade and facilitating communication with government bodies and other stakeholders in the construction industry throughout Cairo Governorate and the wider Egyptian market.
