Aims and Objectives - To process applications for work permit and issue the work permits within 30 working days. -To monitor the employment of expatriates in line with the provisions of the Non-Citizens (Employment Restriction) Act 1973 and in accordance with policies of Government. - To process applications and issue such licences to local private recruitment agencies. - To ensure that recruitment of workers for employment in Mauritius and abroad is carried out in line with the provisions of the Recruitment of Workers Act 1993.
