About NAMC- ZA
NAMC promotes agricultural market access and transformation through research, policy advisory, and development in South Africa. The National Agricultural Marketing Council (NAMC) is a statutory body under the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development. Based in Pretoria, it was established in 1996 to promote market access for South African agricultural products, address inefficiencies in marketing, and enhance the participation of historically disadvantaged groups in the sector. It conducts economic research, supports market development, and facilitates statutory levies to benefit stakeholders.
