Anton Gerber qualified as a CA (SA) in 1988 after obtaining a B Com and Hons B Compt degrees. A M Com degree followed in 1998. I started my career at one of the big 4 accounting and auditing firms as part of the business services team. I also worked at SARS at the Special Investigation Division. I then joined a listed company as an Internal Audit manager where I was responsible for internal audits, audit committee reporting, fraud investigations, system design and evaluations and providing management with business, procedural and control systems recommendations. I was also involved in corporate governance compliance and reporting. I have more than 25 year experience in providing accounting and tax services to individuals and small and medium enterprises. I am a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). I am also a Pastel Accounting Forum member and is currently the Treasurer of the Gordon's Bay Business Forum.
