Community beekeeping social enterprise empowering rural families in Western Cape through training, honey production and environmental conservation. African Honey Bee is a Christian social enterprise founded (circa 2018–2020) to empower rural families in impoverished areas of the Western Cape through sustainable beekeeping. They train families to build their own hives and equipment, form self‑help savings groups, manage hives, extract and sell honey. Their Honeybee Guardians programme creates income and conserves biodiversity, particularly Capensis honeybees. Offers community upliftment, food production, environmental education, and faith‑based support.
