A branch of the global AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AHF South Africa delivers HIV, STI and TB care to 61 facilities across four provinces, including Johannesburg and Durban, since 2002. AHF South Africa began operations in 2002 with its first clinic in Umlazi. Since then, it has expanded to support 61 health facilities across four provinces (KwaZulu‑Natal, Eastern Cape, Gauteng). Provides HIV, STI and TB services via direct delivery, training, mentoring, M&E, equipment and infrastructure support. Launched ‘Food for Health’ in 2021. Unique as branch of the global AIDS Healthcare Foundation—the world’s largest HIV/AIDS care provider—with community programming embedded in national health systems.
