Founded around 2006, CHOSA supports grassroots community-based organisations (CBOs) caring for orphaned and vulnerable children. It provides funding, mentorship, capacity-building, and exchange programmes focused on under-resourced communities like Gugulethu and Khayelitsha. Unique for empowering CBOs to develop local child-welfare solutions.
