Cotlands, founded in 1936, is a national non-profit pioneering play-based early childhood education (ECD) in under-resourced communities. Originally an orphanage, Cotlands now delivers mobile toy libraries, playgroups, online courses and literacy initiatives across Gauteng, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga. Unique for integrating play into scalable ECD delivery models. Headquartered in Kensington, Johannesburg.
