Epilepsy South Africa provides national services for persons with epilepsy and other disabilities, including training, support and advocacy since 1967. Epilepsy South Africa is the only national organisation in the country providing comprehensive services to persons with and affected by epilepsy and other disabilities. Founded in 1967, it operates across seven provinces with services including accommodation, training, advocacy, public education and employment development. Unique for its combination of neurological health support and community-based disability empowerment.
