Khula Development Group supports at-risk primary learners in Western Cape with interventions preventing school dropout and improving education outcomes. Khula Development Group is a nonprofit based in Paarl, Western Cape, focused on reducing school dropout rates among primary learners in underserved communities. Since 2005, Khula has partnered with over 20 schools and local government departments to offer early intervention, home visits, parental support, and reintegration of dropouts. Targeting learners from Grade R–4, Khula is unique for its research-based, child-centric approach and community collaboration.
