ISSA provides networking, training, and professional development for cybersecurity practitioners worldwide, including Africa. The Information Systems Security Association (ISSA) is a global organization of information security professionals. While headquartered internationally, it has chapters worldwide including Africa. Founded in 1982, ISSA promotes cybersecurity awareness, professional development, certifications, and networking. Membership is open to IT security professionals, students, consultants, and CISOs. Members must adhere to ISSA’s code of ethics and typically hold roles in information assurance, compliance, or cybersecurity.
