SASA supports private security firms in South Africa through compliance oversight, ethical guidance, and member services. The Security Association of South Africa (SASA), founded in 1964 and headquartered in Johannesburg, is one of the country’s oldest industry bodies representing private security companies. SASA promotes industry integrity, member accountability, and ethical practices through auditing, dispute resolution, and liaison with PSIRA. Membership is available to registered security service providers meeting SASA’s code of conduct and operational standards.
