The website www.ImageSouthAfrica.co.za was acquired in 2004 by 1st Solutions Executive Image Consultants. After recognising the possibilities and future of Image Consulting in South Africa, it became apparent that the need for such an association had arisen and it has become vital to the wellbeing of the profession. After much research, both nationally and internationally, it was decided that the SA Professional Image Consultants Association would be launched in June 2005. The SA Professional Image Consultants Association is dedicated to maintaining, improving and benchmarking the standard of professionalism and integrity expected from the profession. In so doing, the SA Professional Image Consultants Association strives to ensure that both experienced Image Consultants, as well as students being trained as Image Consultants, are competent, efficient and of the highest ethical standards.
