Founded in 1980 and Africa’s oldest BMX club, Alrode BMX in Alberton trains national-level riders, produced Olympians, and runs community and school programs. Established in 1980, Alrode BMX in Alberton is Africa’s oldest BMX club. It has produced Olympians and South African champions and hosts weekly training sessions for youth. It is deeply embedded in school and community cycling development in Gauteng.
