Since 1935, Modderfontein Golf Club has delivered a classic 18‑hole test plus first‑class clubhouse, academy and event facilities in Johannesburg. Founded in 1935 by the Modderfontein Dynamite Factory, Modderfontein Golf Club was laid out by Arthur Tomsett and officially opened by Major Champion Bobby Locke. Today the 6 730 m, par‑72 course blends mature trees, rolling fairways and strategic bunkering. Facilities include a spacious clubhouse, golf academy, pro shop, halfway house, and popular event spaces for weddings, conferences and corporate golf days.
