Royal Travel was established in 1994. Starting as a retail travel agency with a staff complement of three, the company has grown to become one of the most respected black-owned travel agencies in South Africa. In 2001, Royal Travel became a franchisee of Sure Travel. Whilst the agency still operates as an independent concern, being part of the Sure Travel group affords us the benefits associated with a larger consortium. Royal Travel has a healthy mix of leisure and corporate clients, some of which are United Nations, South African Clothing & Textile Workers Union and Unilever SA (for group and incentive travel). Royal Travel also has considerable experience in travel for MICE and sporting events.
