About University Computing Centre University Computing Centre (UCC) is an 'ICT ' company wholly owned by the University of Dar es Salaam. It was originally established to conduct lectures in all computer related courses, research in informatics and to provide computing services and consultancy in ICT to both the university and the rest of the country. Because UCC is a fully-fledged company, it has the flexibility to operate and serve its customers even better. Training includes short courses in popular business applications like word processor, spreadsheet, databases, presentations software, desktop publishing, project management, web design and similar other courses are still handled by the centre.
