Azam Football Club is a Tanzanian football club from Dar es Salaam – established in 2004 – began as a football team of SSB workers who took the game of soccer as a hobby. It is no secret that SSB through Bakhresa Group is one of the leading Industrial Houses in Tanzania and Eastern Central Africa.

Said Salim Bakhresa Group of Companies SSB started in a humble manner with a small restaurant in the Port City of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in mid 70s. It has now emerged as a respected business group in the region. The Group has its operations spread in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Congo and most recently in Mozambique and Rwanda.
