About Check-in Africa Initiative
We are Check-in Africa Initiative(CIAI). We are the social impact enterprise harnessing clean energy to promote youth and women's livelihoods.
Our members use biomass and other green inputs to create a variety of products including:
- Affordable energy conserving stoves;
- Non-conventional briquettes that light between 4 to 6 hours;
- Lighters.
Mission
To be the platform the fosters youth and women empowerment through:
- Greencharcoal briquettes and stoves production
- Capacity building
- Retooling
- Refocusing their leadership on sustainable iniatives in solving economic challenges in Africa

We are here to create a more self-sustained Africa! Our goal is to proactively contribute to initiatives that harness clean and renewable energy and other environment preserving innovations to empower the youth and women in Africa to solve their own community problems and improve their livelihoods.
