The Busoga Trust Guesthouse is run as an appendage of our water and sanitation NGO the Busoga Trust. We were established in 1983 and have 5 regional sites across Uganda and over 50 staff. Our principle activity is installing wells and boreholes for communities as well as providing hygiene education. The guesthouse is an an old mansion on Lubogo Lane, Jinja, near Zamo hotels, about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. It has 10 rooms, 3 are dormitories that can hold up to 8 people and the rest are double rooms, all are en suite with mosquito nets. There is a fully equipped kitchen, living room with TV and DVD player as well as dining room and peaceful garden. We offer a laundry service, wireless internet and site visits to our water projects. The guesthouse is particularly popular with volunteers and many other charitable organisations in the area accommodate their staff with us. All profits from the guesthouse are fed directly into our charity.
