"Octrev (Pvt) Ltd is wholly owned by the Zimbabwe Project Trust (ZPT), a local Non Governmental Organization (NGO) which supports sustainable community initiated developmental programmes and projects. The company was registered by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe as a credit only microfinancier in 2014. Octrev’s mandate is imbedded in the vision of ZPT that seeks to have “a just and poverty-free society”. The vision of Octrev is “to become the financial partner of choice to the under banked sectors of the economy”. As such, it endeavours to ensure that priority is given to those finding it difficult to access such from the banking sector."
