The Zimbabwe AIDS Network (ZAN) was established in 1992 as a membership driven network to coordinate Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In 2018 ZAN had to undergo a rebranding process in order to cope with ever changing developments in the HIV and AIDS sector such as dynamics of the epidemic; TB and other NCDs which has to be contextualized into the SDGs and changes in the funding environment. The organization has assumed the name; Zimbabwe AIDS Network: Civil Society Coordinating Platform on HIV/AIDS, SRHR and Health. The network membership includes CBOs and CSOs responding to HIV, TB and programming around Sexual Reproductive Health (SRHR) and other non-communicable diseases; Faith Based Organizations (FBOs) involved in health promotion interventions and mission hospitals also constitute part of the network membership.
