BCLA is a registered company limited by guarantee, located in Lungujja Kikandwa off Kalama Road committed to bringing chess to every child in Uganda.

We are excited to work with partners interested in raising the profile of chess in Uganda through training and managing chess events in Uganda.

Our mission is produce better thinkers for in the current and future generation through expert instruction in the art and science of chess, to produce Ugandan chess ambassadors that can compete globally.

BCLA now seeks to partner with organizations and develop a network of organizations to spearhead and enhance the growth of chess in Uganda’s youth.

To date by sharing the educational benefits of chess with schools and advocates for youth and children’s development we have had limited success and seek support to achieve more impactful results.
