BD has two regional programs in Rwenzori and Lango region, targeting more than 40.000 family farmers. The programs aim to improve efficiency and sustainability of family farms and to improve the nutritional situation of farmer households. It works on increasing participation in marketing activities and at improving gender and generational relations. This, through time, should lead to change in both economic as social relationships, which are both necessary to achieve a more dignified life and to realise a positive development, both at household and at community level.
