Buremba Community Initiative (BCI) is a local Non-Government Organization founded in 2013. BCI focuses on the needs and potential of young people through its holistic youth programming in education, health and WASH. With our Head Office in Kiruhura District and a Liaison Office in Kampala, BCI focuses majorly on empowerment and improvement of young people’s education, health and socio- economic well-being. BCI is currently operating in 4 districts of Kampala, Kiruhura, Ibanda and Mbarara Districts and hoping to expand to Kamwenge in Western Uganda. BCI is committed to empowering communities by fostering an active citizenry through creation of demand for and access to education, health information, services and supplies, and promotion of youth employment. We achieve this through engagement in capacity development and advocacy to ensure that the youth are empowered to live healthy and self-determined lives fully supported by those around them..
