ABOUT CTPR Centre for Transformative Parenting and Research (CTPR), is a registered local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2010. CTPR was born out of the desire to uplift vulnerable groups of the Ugandan population, especially women, girls and children, that are often the main victims of all forms of violence and stigma resulting from oppressive and exploitative situations, such as poor parenting, poor spousal relationships, sexual and gender-based violence, failure to complete school, teenage pregnancy, early marriages and HIV infection which are in turn pre-dominantly perpetuated by the rigid social and cultural beliefs and practices.
