CFG-U is an organization formed due to members’ concern about the rising levels of corruption practices in the country, with Uganda ranked among the most corrupt countries in the whole world. CFG-U was founded in 2016, and has emerged as the country’s most suitable weapon to fight corruption amongst the youth and ultimately contribute to corruption eradication nationwide. CFG-U is responsible for involving the youth across the country to adopt an early assimilation of concepts against corruption and also prevent it through proactive measures of civic education, and as such gives it a broader platform to enhance the perception of its direct and indirect beneficiaries. The organization is a youth- led organization founded and steered by a group of University graduates and students across Uganda; who believe that the fight against corruption is everyone’s responsibility i.e. both old and young.
