Indian Women Association (Estd: 1940) is a registered NGO that has come a long way in protecting and-developing the interest of Women, irrespective of their Caste, creed, or Religion. It is a Voluntary Social Organization that has promoted the welfare and wellbeing thereby improving and enhancing the Status of Women especially by promoting Education, Cultural Unity, and Socialism. The contribution of IWA to society as a whole has been tremendous. From providing Incubators to Hospitals, Sewing Machines to the women to make them self-sufficient, Educational scholarships to the meritorious students, Clothes and Accessories to the Flood Victims. Building Toilets for Girl Students, Sponsoring Heart Surgeries in India to Children, Donating Cycles for Girl Students to commute, Renovating school, Building Maternity Ward, Free Cancer screening camps for women you Name it and IWA has done it.
