The Kaleke Kasome Foundation (KAKAF) is a not for profit, non-sectarian and non-political organization born out of the “Kaleke Kasome song". KAKAF was founded in 2014 as a company limited by guarantee and fully incorporated as an NGO in 2019 with an aim of creating awareness about and finding effective solutions to end the ongoing practice of defilement in society that has seen most of our girls fall victim to teenage pregnancy, early marriage, school drop out with all its related effects on the child. Kaleke Kasome Foundation is therefore committed to contribute towards the health and holistic development of children with a focus on the girl child through advocating for the rights of the child and sensitization of guardians and communities about the rights and responsibilities of children.
