. The SEAN discipleship ministry was launched in Uganda in 2008 after a personal invitation from Archbishop, Henry Luke Orombi from the Church of Uganda. Partnering with a team from the SEAN ministry in the UK, tutor training was organized in October 2008 to introduce the SEAN Theological Education by Extension (TEE) programme to members that attended from over 28 Dioceses of the Church of Uganda. SEAN has since served inter-denominationally to fulfill the vison for which the ministry was established. SEAN Uganda TEE is a registered discipleship ministry under the Uganda NGO Act since November 2008. The SEAN Uganda office was initially set up in Namirembe Willis Road. Mr Daniel Muwanguzi Mukiibi who is both a Theologian and Social scientist was appointed the first SEAN Uganda National Administrator and Field Officer of the NGO and by God’s grace serves in the same position to date.
