azz Focus E. Africa is an initiative aimed at Building capacities of local professionals of the jazz music sector, foster the emergence of viable local markets and exchanges at the regional level and Facilitate access to international markets. It shall reinforce the potential of Jazz music as a productive sector and a factor of sustainable development through the professionalization of the industry's operators, strengthening its local markets and promoting the circulation and visibility of artists and their products. The project’s idea is to establish and identify brilliant musicians, train them and prop them up for continued performances and introduce them to technique in composing and arranging Jazz music. The project shall organize meeting with music export offices and national promotion agencies around the globe.
