Luzira secondary school was founded in 1984 and has been in existence for the 35 years. it started very humbly , operating as a double shift school in Luzira C.O.U Primary School. Its is a Church of Uganda founded ; government aided school , located in Nakawa Division which form part of Kampala the capital city of Uganda . it is about 10 kil0meters away from the city Centre located Plot 6 -12 Block 241 Mambo Bado Zone. The school site was donated by Namirembe Diocese through the Archdeacon of Luzira Archdeaconry. Full land ownership therefore remains with Namirembe Diocese. It is a Universal Post Primary Education (UPPET) and Universal Post Level Education & Training (UPOLET) school. The programs started in 2007 and 2012 respectively over the years the school has experienced considerable growth amidst a number of challenges with in a changing environment.
