Bwik, was first registered in 2001, as Bwik Enterprises (U) Ltd, a private limited liability company in Uganda, East Africa, to carry out general trading including but not limited to petroleum products. The company was started by individuals drawn from diverse backgrounds with a drive to run a local company with a global outlook. As Business flourished over the years, the proprietors, deemed it fit to streamline the company according to line of business products. This idea later saw the incorporation of Bwik Petroleum Ltd, in 2007, registered to deal solely with petroleum products both locally and internationally
